BIOL 423 - Applied Biotechnolgoy

(Fall, Spring, Summer)
This course is an overview of the basic principles of molecular biology and application of them in research, industry, and society in general. The laboratory component of this course provides students with hands on experience with state of the art instruments in the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Genomics lab. The laboratory experience also prepares students ti function effectively as laboratory technicians in biotechnology laboratories.
