COMM 311 - Introduction to Health Communication

Fall, Spring
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102. This course explores the role of communications in health care in regard to culture, intercultural, familial, organizational, and interpersonal relationships.  It examines the diversity of cultural perspectives on communicating health, ailment, and prevention, health promotion, alternative medicine, and risk.
