NURS 400 - Introduction to Nursing Research

Prerequisite(s): PSYC 204 or MATH 240; NURS 348 and NURS 349. This course introduces students to general principles and concepts related to the research process in nursing practice and theory. Emphasis is given to: the role of the professional nurse as a consumer of research; expanding decision-making through the use of research findings; evaluating the usefulness of research findings for current practice.
