Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102 and ENGL 256 or Permission of Instructor. This course emphasizes the development of skills in writing in the genre of poetry, both traditional and experimental. It is conducted primarily as a workshop to critique students’ original work, with an emphasis on technique and form and close examination of published texts as models.
