Business Administration Major


General Education And Institutional Requirements (46-47 Semester Hours)


One course in each of two disciplines in arts and humanities (6 Semester Hours)


Two science courses, at least one of which shall be a laboratory course (7-8 Semester Hours)

*Students who satisfied Principles of Macro/Microeconomics are encouraged to take COMM 103, ENGL 211, 212, 213 or MATH 141, 215)

Note:

Students are encouraged to take SUMMER courses and attend MINI-SEMESTER in order to have a manageable semester load.

In keeping with COMAR, the College of Business reserves the right to specify suitable general education courses for all majors.

Note:


BUAD 100 (Business Mathematics) is a prerequisite for ACCT 211 (Principles of Accounting) and ACCT 211 is a prerequisite for ACCT 212.

** Not required for Accounting Majors, Accounting majors are required to take PHIL 305, Ethics and Public Policy

***Not applicable to BUIS majors

**** Accounting students must take BUAD 351 (Business Law II), instead of BUIS 360.
