COSC 111 - Computing Principles and Technology

3 Credits

(Fall, Spring)
This course provides a proficient foundation in computer science and data science concepts. Students will 
learn how to use state-of-the-art techniques and tools for data-intensive and computational science, as 
well as emerging and societal issues surrounding information technology. This course may be used to 
satisfy the General Education Requirement in the Technology category. This course may be used to satisfy the General Education Requirement in the Technology category. (Note: This course does not qualify for computer science or computer technology major credit.)
