BENG 102 - First Year Bengali II

3 Credits

Spring
Prerequisite(s): Bengali 101. The course continues to develop the students; Bangla competence in four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students build on their basic knowledge of Bengali by discussing a variety of cultural topics and themes in the Bengali speaking world.  The focus of the course is on-expanding vocabulary, developing skills to express and support opinions, using language to address problem, reviewing major grammar topics, developing reading strategies and improving listening skills.
