ENGL 319 - Special Topics in American Literature3 Credits
(Periodically) Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102 and ENGL 236. This course is a study of American literature focusing upon special topics beyond the traditional categories of period and genre. Possible topics may include, but are not limited to, the following: Native American literature; Asian American literature; Chicano/a American Literature; travel literature; Cold War literature; American autobiography; literature of specific geographic locations such as Washington, D.C., New York, or the Pacific Rim; and literature and the other arts.
