RLIT 544 - Literacy Principles & Applications

EDUC 544 Prerequisite(s): None This course is designed to broaden and deepen candidate knowledge of the reading process and pedagogical skills necessary to plan and implement high- quality literacy instruction in a classroomsetting. The course focuses on reading readiness, language development, phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension to include strategies to support and differentiate instruction for all readers’ varied ability levels.
