INSS 575 - Information Systems Project Management

3 Credits

The course explores project management process, and the approaches needed to make IS projects successful. The course will examine project management techniques and methodologies. Topics covered may include planning, scheduling, control, evaluation, risk assessment, contingency planning, globalization of projects, as well as resource challenges. Students will utilize project management software. The course reviews the processes of change in organizations and the need to plan and manage change for the long-term process or project success. A project that demonstrates all steps of the project life cycle (except for implementation) will be required. (Previously listed as INSS 675 and 775.)
