ENGL 303 - Literature Without Borders

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102. This course is a study of literature organized by special topics beyond the traditional categories of period and genre. Possible themes may include the following: gothic and horror literature and film; love literature; utopian and dystopian novels and film; literature, obscenity, and the law; madness in literature; theodicy literature; subversive literature; prison literature; immigration literature; and other themes as the scene of culture may dictate.
