PSYC 734 - Counseling Theory and Practice
3 Credits 534 Prerequisite(s): 6 hours in the field, including PSYC 502 In this course, several of the major approaches to counseling will be examined. The theoretical bases and major concepts of these approaches, as well as the process of counseling proposed by the advocates of different schools, will be studied. The theories studied will include client-centered, Gestalt, Behaviorist, and Adlerian.
