PUAD 710 - Intergovernmental Relations Seminar
3 Credits 610 Prerequisite(s): All background courses The seminar begins with a review of Federalism and constitutional politics. It then moves its focus to the complexities and inadequacies of the federal-statelocal systems. The emphasis here is with conflicts and cooperation among the three levels of government and changing roles of government; the development of structures, processes, and management to strengthen the intergovernmental system and improve performance; and with increasing student problem-solving and managerial capabilities in these areas through the use of guest speakers, case studies and a semester project.
