MATH 685 - Applied Functional Analysis I

Prerequisite(s): MATH 500 This course provides a foundation of functional analysis and its applications. The course covers metric spaces, normed and Banach spaces, linear operators, inner product and Hilbert spaces, fundamental theorems for normed and Banach spaces, and application of Banach’s theorem to differential and integral equations.
