This course considers World War I, the Versailles Peace Settlement, domestic and international developments, World War II, the Cold War, the end of European empires, the Welfare State and its problems, the European Union, and the FALL of Communism and its aftermath.

Prerequisite(s): HIST 111 or Permission of Instructor.
