ART 490 - Museum, Gallery & Studio Seminar

3 Credits

Prerequisite(s): Senior Art Majors Only or Permission of Instructor. Professional Orientation: the students will be exposed to the problems of the artist in dealing with the public: marketing, displaying and sound business practices; gallery and museum relations; goals, purposes and operations of art museums and galleries. Visitations to museums and galleries in Baltimore, Washington, DC, New York, and/or other major art centers will be scheduled.
