Biology - Biotechnology Track

The Biotechnology Minor/Track requires that students take a core course (BIOL 209 - General Genetics) and additional 15 credits in specialized biotechnology courses. This Biotechnology Minor/Track will afford Biology students pursuing a BS in Biology to also earn a minor in Biotechnology and by doing so, broaden their opportunity to pursue postgraduate education in biotechnology and to acquire hands-on research skills that prepare them for the workforce in the multimillion-dollar Biotechnology industry in the State of Maryland.
