EDUC 653 Prerequisite(s): None This course focuses on ways in which to address the literacy needs of children from diverse (e.g., race, religion, gender, exceptionality, language) backgrounds. This includes examination of the history, laws, and current research that guides instruction for teachers within racially, culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse schools.
