BIOL 410 - Immunology

When Offered (Spring Only)
This course is designed to provide students with knowledge of the molecular and cellular nature of the immune system. Upon completion of this course, students will have a basic knowledge of the innate and adaptive immune responses, and the structure and function of lymphocytes, antibodies, T-cell receptors and accessory proteins. Also included are the molecular and cellular aspects of immunity to bacteria and viruses, autoimmunity, allergies, transplantation immunology, and vaccines.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL102, 209, 204. BIOL 303 and CHEM 309 (may be taken concurrently) Strongly Recommended.
