CHEM 108 - General Chemistry II4 Credits
When Offered (Fall, Spring) This course is a continuation of CHEM 107.The lecture portion focuses on chemical reactions in solutions, chemical thermodynamics, equilibrium, ionic equilibrium, chemical kinetics, and electrochemistry, the general theory of acids and bases and nuclear chemistry. The laboratory component includes experiments in thermodynamics, kinetics, electrochemistry, physical behavior of gases and chemical reactions in solutions.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 107 or MATH 141. (Lecture/Lab) Three hours lecture, two hours laboratory per week
