COMM 242 - Survey of Emerging Media3 Credits
(Spring Only) This course will explore “new Media,” and its impact on traditional media models, by discussing how society has reacted to the historical creations of new media: from the printing press, to television, to the World Wide Web, to blogging. In addition, questions of how new media will shape industry structure, management, advertising and production, and culture will be addressed.
