COSC 430 - Systems Programming II3 Credits
When Offered (Spring)
The objective of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the issues involved in writing system software on a Unix system by utilizing various system call APIs in process management, inter-process communication, file systems, signals, pipes, etc., distributed computing, and parallel programming using the Message Passing Interface will be covered.
Prerequisite(s): COSC 330.
