ECON 422 - Public Finance and Budgeting3 Credits
When Offered (Spring Only) This course is a survey of the welfare implications of government expenditures, revenues and debt systems in view of principles of taxation and the criteria for public expenditures, with special reference to allocation, stabilization, and redistribution functions of the public sector.
Prerequisite(s): ECON 211 and ECON 212.
