This course provides an analysis of the major trends in current literature-poetry, fiction, drama-with special emphasis on works written during the past decade, the Jewish and African American schools of fiction, the absurd drama, and experimental poetry.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102 and ENGL 236.
