ENGL 438 - Seminar for Majors and Minors

This course is an intensive review across the genres of the English literary canon from its Celtic and Anglo-Saxon beginnings through the post-modern period. The course will also review American and African American literature. The course is designed to prepare majors and minors for graduate study and for professional careers. Of importance will be a senior comprehensive examination and a major research paper to be presented by each student at the senior symposium.
