GOVT 250 - Government and Politics of Africa

When Offered (Spring Only)
This course is a study of the government and politics of selected nations of Africa. Though emphasis will be placed on sub-Saharan Africa, the dominant themes will include pre- and post-colonial economic and political organization, political participation and ideologies, and nationalism.

Prerequisite(s): GOVT 130 or Permission of Instructor.
