MUSC 255 - Advanced Music Theory (Theory III)

This advanced music theory course will provide students with a professional command of the mechanics of contemporary music. Students will be able to recognize, understand, and describe the basic materials and processes of music that are heard or presented in a score. This will be accomplished by addressing fundamental aural, analytical, and compositional skills using both listening and written exercises.

Prerequisite(s): MUSC 156.
