PHSC 111 - Astronomy

This course is an introduction to classical and modern astronomy, including the main features of the solar system, the history of the stars and galaxies and a survey of recent discoveries in radio, X-ray, and gravitational astronomy. This course includes a variety of experiments and direct sky observations.

Prerequisite(s): MATH-099 or equivalent.
