THEA 107 - Stage Movement I3 Credits
This course introduces the novice performer to the importance of understanding the movement capabilities inherent in one’s body. Presented in a studio environment, the course will focus on developing correct body alignment, core strength, flexibility, efficiency of motion, and coordination. Students will be able to relate the coursework, which will include exercises in Pilates, Yoga, Alexander Technique, and beginning dance vocabulary, to the movements performed in a stage production.
