BIOL 430 - Methods of Teaching Science in Secondary School

When Offered Spring
Methods of Teaching Science in Secondary School provides an overview of research-based approaches for teaching science at the secondary education level.  Students will review current education research and best teaching practices that align with the National Board Standards set by NBPTS with emphasis on developing lesson plans that align with Maryland’s state science standards.

Prerequisite(s): EDUC 101, EDUC 201, BIOL 102, CHEM 107, and ENGL 102.
