PHYS 353 - Physics for Bioinformatics

This course focuses on applying the laws of physics to biological systems.  It will provide real-world context for how the principles and rules of physics are applied to bioinformatics, biology and related areas in biomedical sciences.  It will increase the students’ proficiency and confidence in all areas of biology and bioinformatics by enhancing deep understanding of fundamental principles, rather than rote memorization.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 150 and CHEM 107.
