ART 314 - Serigraphy Printmaking

This course will explore the printmaking art of Serigraph (silkscreens). Students will create individual printable designs and work on paper to create multicolor screen-printed images. Techniques may include a variety of stencil making methods, direct approaches, photo-emulsion, and color field printing. The use of silkscreen as an art medium incorporated into other traditional mediums such as surface design may be encouraged.

Prerequisite(s): ART 101 or ART 210.
