ART 343 - Experimental Studio I



When Offered Every other Fall
Through lectures and hands-on demonstrations, students will learn a variety of experimental studio practices, mixed media techniques, and installation art while acquiring skillsets to explore their interests in gradually more complex
artworks. The course pays particular attention to the relationship of experimentation, concept, process, materials, and audience.

Prerequisite(s): Two 200-level or higher ART studio classes (Ex.ART 201 - Ceramics (Hand Building), ART 202, ART 250, ART 251,  ART 310, ART 311 , ART 320, ART 351, ART 480, VCDM 321).
