THEA 340 - West African Dance Technique I

This course is an immersion into knowing, understanding and experiencing the cultural traditions within West African Dance. Students will learn traditional dances, songs, and rhythms from various cultures in the region and become familiar with the purpose of African dance forms: to communicate and celebrate within the community.

Prerequisite(s): THEA 250 &THEA 251.
