PHIT 285 - Intro to Public Health Informatics and Technology3 Credits
When Offered (Every Spring semester) This course is an introduction to the application of informatics and technology in public health. It provides an overview of specialized public health application such as bio-surveillance, registries, and epidemiological databases and covers the use of clinical data sources to improve public health outcomes.
Prerequisite(s): COSC 110 and PHSC 200.
