PHIS 305 - Programming for Healthcare3 Credits
When Offered (Every Spring semester) This course introduces students to the object-oriented (OO) approach to programming with emphasis on solving business problems. Proper object-oriented design principles and practices are emphasized throughout the course. First, students learn how to use the standard classes, and then learn to design their own classes. Real world programs in healthcare are also used as examples throughout the course. A python or other object-oriented programming language will be used.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: PHIS 362.
