HSAM 302 - Health Care Management II3 Credits
(Every Fall semester) Prerequisite(s): HSAM 200 and HSAM 202. Explores the manager’s role in creating and maintaining a productive health workforce by understanding management theory and practice of managing the employment relationship including human resource planning, job analysis, recruitment, selection, development, work red-design, performance evaluation, compensation, employee relations. May provide an overview of ethics and the legal environment as it pertains to HR issues. Workforce diversity and changing demographics may also be covered.
