HSAM 302 - Health Care Management II

When Offered (Every Fall semester)
Explores the manager’s role in creating and maintaining a productive health workforce by understanding management theory and practice of managing the employment relationship including human resource planning, job analysis, recruitment, selection, development, work red-design, performance evaluation, compensation, employee relations. May provide an overview of ethics and the legal environment as it pertains to HR issues. Workforce diversity and changing demographics may also be covered.

Prerequisite(s):  HSAM 200 and HSAM 202.
