HSAM 400 - Leadership and Governance

This course explores ways to guide, direct and assume principal responsibility in the workplace. Governance explores the principles of the governance structure of healthcare organizations and how they can be effectively managed. Included in the course is considerations of governmental, accreditation, and professional associations’ oversight.

Prerequisite(s): Students must have completed all previous classes including HSAM 308, HSAM 310, HSAM 480, NURS 390 and IDIS 460.
