Prerequisite(s): JAPN 101 This course continues to introduce Japanese language and culture to students who have experience learning Japanese at the college level and to improve their basic skills of language fluency through speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The class complements language acquisition skills with lessons on Japanese historical traditions and culture as well as the ways in which Japanese and African American pop culture influence one another.
