The Department of Sport Management at Bowie State University is designed to develop dynamic leaders through educational experiences which include in class, through research and field experiences. The primary goal of the Sport Management degree program is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism to be successful in any area of the sports industry. The program achieves this goal by promoting critical thinking, problem solving related to sport business, effective communication skills, values and ethics, professional development, and networking.
