COMM 205 - Media Literacy for Diverse Audiences

Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102. This course examines the basic principles of mindful media consumption and production through the principles of media literacy, which is officially defined as the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, produce and act upon media messages.  Additional focus will be placed upon the implications of media consumption for diverse audiences and the impact of messages produced for such audiences.
