COSC 476 - Natural Language Processing

Prerequisite(s): COSC 474 Natural Language Processing is an advanced course for students familiar with machine learning fundamentals that covers a broad range of topics including finite-state methods; context-free and extended context-free models of syntax; parsing and semantics interpretation; n-gram and Hidden Markov models; part-ofspeech tagging; coreference resolution; discourse structure; and natural language applications such as machine translation, automatic summarization, sentiment analysis and question answering.
