CRJU 331 - American Criminal Law and Restorative Justice

Prerequisite(s): CRJU 201 & CRJU 329 This course is designed to have students explore, discuss and become familiar with the interplay of criminal law and restorative justice. The course has students explore and understand the influence of restorative justice on criminal law enforcement. The course has students explore and understand the influence of restorative justice on criminal law problem-solving policing. Students will learn to analyze how enforcement of criminal codes with restorative justice innovations to provide new solutions and/or penalties for violations of criminal laws under the banner of restorative justice.
